Our Initiatives

Canadians Supporting Global Communities (CSGC) has taken various projects since its inception. Some are long term and some are short term on a need basis. We are always looking for ways to increase our efforts and contributions to help bring the change we visioned.

Below are some of the projects CSGC has undertaken thus far.

Sponsor a Student

Primary school in Satkhira-Sundarban in partnership with DSF-SEDA. Help our project by sponsoring a child. It will cost $250 per student per year to operate the school (despite various government subsidies).

Moving towards a self-sustaining model

We are exploring initiatives to build a sustainable solution that will generate revenue to cover all the expenses of running the school and also other projects.

Clean Water Project

Access to clean water is a huge problem in the developing country like Bangladesh. We have sponsored and installed tube-wells.

Alleviate Hunger

Hunger in Bangladesh is one of the major issues that affects the citizens, specially the children. We sponsor food drive events.

Helping Poor Families

We sponsor and finance businesses programs for people to obtain financial independence.
